T-WING SYSTEM (TWS™) The "T" aperture allows line to flow freely through the wide top section on outcast, reducing the normally sharp angles, and friction that slow line flowing through a narrow aperture when exiting the reel. For retrieve line drops in the narrow, lower channel of the "T-Wing" for even distribution across the spool width. |

When the clutch is depressed, the hood lifts slightly for casting, allowing line to flow freely through the wide, upper part of the "T". | On retrieve, the hood automatically lowers, channeling line through the narrow, lower part of the "T" for precision line winding. | On some ordinary reels, line slaps against the upper crossbar. T-Wing reels are lower than most, yet their design eliminates the frame crossbar for reduced line friction. |
